Terms
Effective July 13, 2026 · v1
These terms are the agreement between you and Tada when you use the app. By loading a film, joining a roll, or shooting a print, you agree to them. We've kept them plain.
Your photos are yours
You own the photos and clips you shoot. We don't claim them.
To make the app work, you give us permission to do a few specific things with your content: host and store it, show it to the other members of your event on the shared wall, and include it in the developed album that goes to the host and to anyone who asked for it. That permission lasts as long as we host the content and only covers running the service — nothing else.
How the camera works
Tada is a disposable camera by design. A few things that means, so there are no surprises:
- Shots are final. When you press the shutter, the shot is taken. There are no retakes and no undo — that is the point of the product, not a bug.
- The roll runs out. Each guest gets a fixed number of shots. When they're gone, they're gone. You can't buy more shots.
- The wall may develop later. Depending on the host's choice, prints appear right away or stay in the darkroom until the party ends and develop all at once.
Acceptable use
Tada carries photos real people took at real events. When you use it, you agree not to:
- post content that is unlawful, or that you don't have the right to share;
- post content that is harassing, hateful, threatening, or sexually exploitative — and never anything involving a minor;
- photograph people who have made clear they don't want to be photographed;
- try to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service or other people's events.
You are responsible for the content you shoot and share.
Reports and removal
There is no tolerance for objectionable content. Anyone can report a print from the "…" menu on it. We review reports of objectionable content and act on them within 24 hours — removing the content and, where needed, removing the person who posted it. Hosts can also remove content from their own events at any time.
Full detail on reporting is on the support page.
Accounts and hosting
Guests shoot without an account. Hosts sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure, and for the events you host. We may suspend or remove access for anyone who breaks these terms.
Free tier and paid events
Small events are free (up to 10 guests). Larger events are unlocked by a one-time in-app purchase, priced by how many guests you invite. The photo count is always free — you never pay per photo. Purchases are handled by Apple, and Apple's refund terms apply to them.
Tier prices and limits may change as the product grows; the price is always shown before you buy.
The app is provided as-is
We work hard to make Tada reliable, but we provide it "as is," without warranties. We can't guarantee that every photo uploads, that the service is never interrupted, or that content is never lost. Don't rely on Tada as the only copy of a photo that matters to you.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Tada and its operator are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us, if anything, for the event in question.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's home jurisdiction, and any dispute will be handled by the courts there.
Placeholder: the exact governing law and venue are to be confirmed before public launch.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app changes. When we do, we'll update the effective date at the top. Continuing to use Tada after a change means you accept the updated terms.
